Just Keep Swimming

Change can be hard because people want certainty before they move.

But most real change doesn't work like that.

You rarely get the full map upfront.

You just get the next step.

When fear and uncertainty take hold, I think the goal becomes simpler:

  • Take the next small step.
  • Just keep swimming.
  • Keep moving forward.

Funny how some of the best change advice came from animated movies.

Because momentum is created through movement, not waiting until everything feels safe and clear.

People freeze trying to solve the whole future at once.

But change usually happens one conversation, one decision, one experiment, one brave small step at a time.

Sometimes good change leadership is simply helping people feel safe enough to keep moving forward anyway.
